The Mexican Caribbean, is more than a tourist destination, this place is a dream that you don't want to wake up from, where you always want to be and that's what we felt with this wedding in Cancun, Tania and Ale's wedding was indescribable. // El caribe Mexicano, es mas que un destino turístico, este lugar es un sueño del que no quieres despertar, en el que siempre quieres estar y eso es lo que sentimos con esta boda en Cancun, la boda de Tania y Ale fue indescriptible
ILIA + JOEL // SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
The historic streets of San Miguel de Allende were the location chosen by Ilia and Joel for their wedding. Everything was planned and organized by Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada, who ensured that everything went perfectly. After the ceremony at the main pool, we headed to one of the terraces for the reception, and right after eating, we went out into the streets for a short photo shoot with natural and artificial light. // Las calles históricas de San Miguel dude Allende, fue el lugar elegido por Ilia y Joel para su boda, todo fue planeado y organizado en Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada quienes en todo momento estuvieron atentos de que todo saliera a la perfección. Después de la ceremonia en la alberca principal nos dirigimos a una de las terrazas para el banquete y justo terminando de comer salimos a las calles para hacer una pequeña sesión con luz natural y luz artificial.

And when we were starting with the session, the wind began to feel, the one that warns us that comes with rain, but instead of worrying we decided that it would be a great session, and the rain became warm and the colors in the streets of bellas artes became more intense, a different session and I could see from another perspective what would have been a problem.

Y cuando estábamos empezando con la sesión, se empezó a sentir el viento, ese que te avisa que viene acompañado de lluvia, pero en vez de preocuparnos decidimos que sería una estupenda sesión, y la lluvia se tornó cálida y los colores en las calles de bellas artes se volvieron más intensos, una sesión diferente y pude ver desde otra perspectiva lo que hubiera sido un problema.

I got to hear what they were thinking as they smiled and I understood that the moment I was creating was unique, sober, almost like a sigh. And they didn’t need to travel much, just get to the streets of the wonderful #romanorte and after going through these sensations we continued with the photo shoot with them always holding hands. // Conseguí oír lo que pensaban mientras sonreían y entendí que el momento que estaba creando era único, sobrio, casi como un suspiro. Y no necesitaron viajar mucho, solo llegar a las calles del maravilloso #romanorte y después de recorrer estas sensaciones continuamos con la sesión de fotos con ellos siempre tomados de la mano.
PLAZA CONSTITUCION
Sometimes I wondered, what is the feeling of representing my country, and in this session I could understand it through my lens, being able to share with Aiko and Yuki who are a Japanese couple, the Mexican culture, especially our Day of the Dead.
What was the beginning of a pre-wedding session, became a session also of Mexican tradition, for me one of the most important for us. To think that the final photos will go all the way to the other side of the world and for this time I can say what it feels like to represent my country to the world thanks to this photo shoot.

A veces me preguntaba, cual es la sensación de representar a mi país, y en esta sesión pude entenderlo atravez de mi lente, poder compartir con Aiko y Yuki que son una pareja Japonesa, la cultura mexicana, en especial, nuestro dia de los muertos.
Lo que fue el inicio de una sesión preboda, se convirtió en una sesión también de tradición mexicana, para mi una de las mas importantes para nosotros. Pensar que las fotos finales van a recorrer un camino hasta el otro lado del mundo y por esta vez puedo decir lo que se siente representar a mi país ante el mundo gracias a esta sesión de fotos.
